    Description: Nestled in the hills of Sintra, the Palácio de Seteais is an 18th-century neoclassical palace turned luxury hotel, with gardens and sweeping views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. Built in 1787 as the Dutch consul’s residence, it has hosted nobility and dignitaries for centuries, and today offers a storybook setting for our celebration.

    Getting There
    The palace is about 35–40 minutes from Lisbon Airport (LIS) by car or taxi. Trains run regularly from Lisbon’s Rossio Station to Sintra, with the palace just a short drive from the station.

International Flights

For the closest major city to Sintra, we recommend flying into Lisbon Airport (LIS). Most international flights are overnight (red-eye), so we suggest departing on Wednesday, January 14th, to arrive in Lisbon on Thursday, January 15th in time for all the festivities. A complimentary morning shuttle to Sintra will be provided at 10am. Otherwise Uber can be called for the 45min ride upon your arrival.

Our extended itinerary, which includes planned cultural excursions, continues through Monday, January 19th (with departures on Tuesday, January 20th). Conveniently, flights out of Lisbon depart daily around 5:00 PM, allowing for a relaxed morning before heading home.
