With our dearest friends beside us, our anniversary celebration becomes a journey — a storybook adventure shared with the those we cherish most. Together, we’ll wander through the storybook palaces and gardens of Sintra, share long tables filled with Portuguese wine and music, and gather in the halls of a palace where we’ll say “I do” once more. From golden sunsets on Lisbon’s hills to fado songs echoing through Alfama’s streets, each day brings a new memory to treasure.
A perfect itinerary of cultural discoveries, laughter over shared meals, and moments of stillness by the sea will carry us through five unforgettable days. And as we raise our glasses on the final evening, we’ll toast to love, the bonds of friendship and the beauty of new experiences shared. Thank you for being a part of our love story. We can’t wait to mark the beginning of this new chapter with you.

Garden Party
Thursday, January 15th | 1pm
Our celebrations open with a fairytale welcome reception on the castle grounds — an elegant afternoon of fine fare, flowing drinks, and carriage rides fit for royalty. Sun hats and chic garden attire encouraged for this storybook affair.

Tapas & Toasts
Friday, January 16th | 7pm
Our rehearsal dinner brings a taste of Portugal to the table — shared tapas, local wines, and laughter passed around family-style. All travelers are welcome, with children and caretakers happily included.

Vows & Merriment
Saturday, January 17th | 4pm
We gather within grand halls to renew our vows in a ceremony of enduring love. A formal reception follows — fine dining, raised glasses, and dancing into the night. This evening affair is reserved for our invited adult guests.
Travel & Accomodation
We have secured group rate hotel blocks in both destination cities. Please RSVP with your preferred accommodation request(s) including the quantity and room type. The Hotels will reach out directly with a special booking link to finalize arrangements.

Description: Nestled in the hills of Sintra, the Palácio de Seteais is an 18th-century neoclassical palace turned luxury hotel, with gardens and sweeping views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. Built in 1787 as the Dutch consul’s residence, it has hosted nobility and dignitaries for centuries, and today offers a storybook setting for our celebration.
Getting There
The palace is about 35–40 minutes from Lisbon Airport (LIS) by car or taxi. Trains run regularly from Lisbon’s Rossio Station to Sintra, with the palace just a short drive from the station. -
